Technologies

Gear World can manufacture steel gears measuring 10 to 1000 mm - both cylindrical and conical - up to DIN 3 class quality; powder sintering technology is used to produce of all gear types or shaped parts through a broad range of processes including presses of up to 500 tons.

Every Gear World factory boasts avant-garde technologies covering a huge range of machining operations, with Gleason and Oerlikon cutting systems and lapped or ground surface finishings.

The high quality of our gears is assured by advanced processes for control - on Zeiss and Klingelnberg systems - and verification of meshing noise on testers. Optimisation of geometry and drive is ensured through the use of dedicated software programs.
