Turbo Gears rewards his talents

New edition of the Star Awards Ceremony

The initiative was born 4 years ago, with the aim to recognize and reward the best performances of the plant personnel to prepare them for a career in the role of technically skilled leaders. This would not only eliminate the recruiting of supervisors from the outside, but would encourage internal resources to grow with the organisation & gain more responsibility. Today, the "Star" employees represent 15 to 20% of the total operators in the company.

This year in Turbo Gears, 30 employees on a total of 323 operators were awarded the "Star Award", with a good return in terms of retaining some technical key figures in the plant and of motivation/regognition of individual performance.

The evaluation was done on employees who have completed 3 years within the company & on the basis of a multi-skill assessment test. In addition, people were assessed by a team of first-level managers, in relation to certain evaluation criterias, such as, quality of work, achievement of objectives, individual capacity, contribution to new projects, organizational behavior .. and so on.

The winners were awarded by Tomaso Carraro, Chairman and CEO of Gear World, and Alberto Negri, Managing Director of Gear World, with a Star symbol and a certificate of the initiative.
